Site Issues…
My main site is down at the moment. My host changed servers over the last couple of days and it looks like some images got left behind.
I don’t have time to fix this for a few days, maybe even a week. Just don’t look at it for now yeah…
Thanks for your attention in this difficult time.

Another from this recent batch.
On a related (sea?) note I’m cooking a smoked haddock chowder later.

The sun is still out, two jobs today and more later on in what’s shaping up to be a busy couple of weeks.
Great weekend apart from major fridge issues.

Been looking forward to this for a while, check it out.
Hey all,
I am just putting the finishing touches to my new body of work. Entitled ‘Took Strength To Tackle Those Hills’, the work is a photographic portrait of a community and a landscape experiencing particular transition, and examines the impact from past political and economic decisions upon the landscape.
The work will debut at this years PhotoIreland Festival, opening 5th July at 6pm and continuing until 17th July. If you are around, please pop in.
Finally, there is a preview of the work with text on my website, with the full series going live on June 1st. You can also subscribe to my very occasional newsletter there too.
Thanks.

VW, Tenby. 2011
I’ve finally got round to processing and scanning some of the film that has been sitting in a bag for the past few months. Not for not wanting to, it’s just that rent/food/bills/life sometimes takes priority.
I’m going to be posting some images from a really (too short) brief couple of days I spent in Tenby towards the end of last summer. I didn’t shoot that much but got a few nice and random images none the less.
I may also have a couple of things to show from a embryonic (?) idea that I’ve occasionally worked on about my home town of Swansea. Though I find trying to see the place I’ve known for far too long with fresh, un-cynical eyes sometimes too difficult and long for taking a couple of trips to feed my eyes. I’m thinking Italy, thinking the Basque country and the overdone but needed US road trip.
one day.
Home acquisition, think we got a bargain. (Taken with instagram)
An out take from a shoot for the FT in March. Sending off a bag of film to the lab today, its been so long since I shot it that I’ve forgotten what’s on there, joy of film.
Trying to write something about my past year, finishing uni and trying to make a living in this photo world. It isn’t easy without coming across like a dick, but I’ll keep trying.
